No. Venovax tracks time, schedules, and payout preferences, and generates a payroll-ready export. You still run payroll wherever you do today, or you can turn on Venovax Invoicing & Pay to send approved payouts from inside Venovax.

Does Venovax pay my employees directly?

Only if you choose to. By default, Venovax records each employee's preferred payout method (Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash, Check, or Direct Deposit) so you keep paying them however you do today - we just hand you a clean, payroll-ready summary. What is Venovax Invoicing & Pay?

Venovax Invoicing & Pay is the optional money-movement layer of Venovax. It powers two things: (1) branded invoices sent from a deal that customers pay online, and (2) workforce payouts sent to employees and contractors who connect a bank or debit card. It's on the Pro plan, requires a connected payments account, and adds a 3% service fee on invoices that you choose to absorb or pass to the customer. We are not a payroll provider; you stay in control of approvals, schedule, and tax filings. Powered by Stripe.

No. It's opt-in. Plenty of teams just use Venovax to track time, schedules, and payout preferences, then pay everyone with their existing method (Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash, Check, or Direct Deposit) using our payroll-ready export.

Can I send invoices and accept payments?

What happens after my trial ends?

You drop to the Free plan, which is solo only (1 user). Your data stays put. Pro and Growth features lock behind an upgrade prompt until you subscribe.

Is Workforce included or an add-on?

Workforce is a +$5 per active employee per month add-on. Active means anyone who clocks in, gets scheduled, or is onboarded through Venovax.

Can I geofence clock-ins?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Set a location and radius for each job site; clock-ins record latitude/longitude and flag punches outside the geofence.

Can I make and receive calls from Venovax?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Business numbers are $10/user/line/month with 500 outbound minutes and 250 SMS segments included per line (overages $0.025/min, $0.015/SMS). Call and text from the browser, no headset or PBX needed. Every call and message is auto-logged to the contact and deal it belongs to.

Do you support an auto-attendant (press 1 for sales, etc.)?

Yes. Upload your own voiceover (or use built-in text-to-speech), build a press-1 menu per line, route options to a teammate, an external number, or voicemail, and play your own hold music while we connect the call. You can also turn on business hours so after-hours calls get a separate greeting and go to voicemail.

Only when you turn it on per line. When recording is on, callers automatically hear a short two-party consent message before they connect.

Can I text customers? What's A2P 10DLC?

Yes, you can SMS from your business number. US carriers require business texting numbers to be registered (A2P 10DLC) - Venovax walks you through brand + campaign registration right inside Caller Settings, with STOP/HELP keywords handled for you.

What can instructors do in Venovax?

Instructors get a focused view: take attendance in seconds (present, absent, late), post assignments and grades to the gradebook, run quizzes from the question bank, see their own teaching schedule, message students, and clock in for paid hours. They only see the classes and students they're assigned to.

Yes. Every student gets a portal at your school's branded URL where they can see grades, attendance, tuition balance, assignments, quizzes, schedule, announcements, and messages from their instructors - on any device, no app install.

Can students pay tuition online?

Yes. Tuition invoices are sent from Venovax and students pay by card from the portal. Powered by Venovax Invoicing & Pay (Pro), so the 3% service fee applies (absorb it or pass it through). Balances and payment history show up on the student record automatically.

Are instructors counted as Workforce employees?

Yes. Instructors live in the same Workforce engine as any other staff - clock-in, schedules, PTO, payroll-ready exports, and optional payouts via Venovax Invoicing & Pay. The Workforce add-on cost ($5/active employee/month) is bundled into Edu plans, so you don't pay it twice.

Can I use my own domain or a branded URL?

Yes. Every workspace gets a branded path on our domain like venovax.io/portal/your-workspace - share that link with your team or your customers and it lands on your branded sign-in. On the Pro plan you can also connect your own domain (for example crm.yourbiz.com or pay.yourbiz.com) by adding a CNAME and a TXT record at your registrar; Venovax handles SSL automatically. We do not hand out tenant subdomains like yourbiz.venovax.io - it's either the path URL or your own domain.

How do customers and employees sign in to my workspace?

Send them to venovax.io/portal/your-workspace (or your custom domain if you've connected one). They land on a sign-in page branded with your logo and colors. Employees sign in to the app; customers and students sign in to the portal. No subdomain to remember, no app to install.
